However, he took seriously to it some time close to the year 2000. His main medium then were pastels which he abandoned in favour of acrylic painting.<br>For many years he painted only for himself and his friends. Eventually decided to open to broader audiences.<br>He does not aspire to make \u201cpretty paintings\u201d. He rather shows life from the uglier angle, in a provocative way, touching areas that one would prefer not to notice.
